A Stranger Things secret episode may have been quietly teased on The Tonight Show. One night after Sadie Sink appeared with Jimmy Fallon, Jamie Campbell Bower took the stage Tuesday night, and people are convinced his appearance hints at a surprise final episode dropping today.

Vecna star Jamie Campbell Bower has accepted his character's fate in the Stranger Things season 5 finale, and thinks it's the only way the long-running Netflix show could have ended.

Joyce Byers may have been responsible for one of the Stranger Things season 5 finale's most dramatic moments when she finally took down Vecna for good, but Winona Ryder thought it best not to rehearse the scene. In fact, she thought it was important that they nailed it in just a few takes so that all of the emotion felt as real as possible.

The Stranger Things series finale featured a huge showdown between Vecna joining the Mind Flayer fighting the rest of the cast. But people aren't getting it.

Jamie Campbell Bower blends fitness and rhythm in a reel, dancing and working out while subtly promoting Stranger Things. Between moves, he channels Vecna’s eerie expressions, slipping briefly into character and reminding fans why the Upside Down haunts pop culture.

In the first collaboration, the alien-like Demogorgon took on the role of Killer. As expected in this follow-up, Dead by Daylight is now introducing Vecna–also known as The First, 001, or Henry Creel–as the new Killer. Dead by Daylight hinted at Vecna’s powers:

The next DC movie hitting theaters is Supergirl on June 26th as part of the 2026 movie release list. As for Jamie Campbell Bower, his tenure as Vecna in Stranger Things is available on its entirety on Netflix.

Although the PTB is available to play now, the Dead By Daylight Stranger Things Chapter 2 release date for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch isn’t until January 27. You can play the PTB on Steam until January 13, but any progress you make will not carry over to the full release, nor will the Tier 3 perks for Vecna, Eleven, and Dustin.
