A high-profile betting scandal allegedly involving NCAA basketball players has come to light.

Federal prosecutors charged 20 people on Thursday, including 15 former college basketball players, in what they called a betting scheme to fix NCAA and Chinese Basketball Association games.

The charges were unsealed by federal prosecutors in Philadelphia following a grand jury and accuse the defendants of conspiring on games from about September 2022 through February 2025.
