Rainy weather will develop in Maryland on Thursday afternoon and continue on and off through Friday morning. Motorists in certain areas should “consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution.”

The storm coming to the East Coast could bring less snow or miss the region entirely, the National Weather Service said.
