The Pueblo Riverwalk (Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo) is a 32-acre urban waterfront area in downtown Pueblo, Colorado, built along the original channel of the Arkansas River that once flowed through the city’s heart. After the devastating flood of 1921 forced the river to be diverted away from downtown, local leaders later envisioned restoring the river’s presence as a way to revitalize the community. The Riverwalk opened in 2000 and now features scenic walkways, public art, shops, restau
