The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York says it will raise at least 300 million dollars to fund a sex-abuse settlement for roughly 13-hundred accusers. The individuals say they were sexually abused as minors by Archdiocese priests and lay staff members. The Archdiocese says it has agreed with its accusers on a mediator for negotiations.
